Our journey to become a leading Independent Cambridgeshire based Recruitment agency. The Directors Julia Mejer CIPD and Yvette Scott BSc come from a HR and Recruitment background respectively. We opened for business in 1997. Surrounded by Regional and branded high street chains we felt there was a gap in the market for a commercial recruitment agency to offer a more consultative approach, supporting clients and candidates by offering a tailored and personalised service.
From the outset, we were determined that Meyer-Scott Recruitment would offer a premium level of service, focusing specifically on proven areas of expertise, such as office, sales, supply chain, finance, customer services and contact centres. As well as semi-skilled industrial industrial such as production, electronic assembly, distribution, and manufacturing.
The key to our success
- Founding Directors working within the business ensuring standards are met for client, candidates and staff. This enables us to react quickly and find resolutions to any escalated issues.
- Our location. With offices in St Ives and Peterborough we are well placed to service the areas we are experienced in.
- Investing in technology to assist us in delivering a speedy and efficient service such as: a robust CRM system; continuously reviewing the performance of Job Boards ensuring we attract the best talent in optimal time frames; regularly meeting our clients in an effort to forecast future needs and hurdles enabling us to be proactive in project managing any recruitment or onsite registration of staff during those difficult times.
