Salesperson
Our client is looking for a confident and effective senior Salesperson to join their busy Sales and Estimating Team operating at their offices in St. Neots. This is a great opportunity to join a small, effective team with a varied workload, in a friendly atmosphere. This role will provide the opportunity to develop and broaden your experience and skills with new challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership of the sales team by example, providing regular guidance, feedback and support to motivate and ensure the high performance of the sales team
* Managing your own workload and that of the sales team, delegating responsibility and authority as required within the department
* Agreeing departmental and individual sales and gross margin targets with the Managing Director
* Implement and report progress of sales plans that will achieve the expected business growth results in terms of turnover and profit from new and existing customers
* Work with the Managing Director to agree the pricing strategy
* Maintenance of a strong sales pipeline to ensure the company takes full advantage of business opportunities.
* Building the sales team capabilities by ensuring correct application of company processes and policies
* Coordination and management of Monthly Sales Meetings and weekly team briefings
* Provision of in-depth customer technical support on a full range of products
Requirements and Skills:
* Experience in the glass and glazing industry essential
* Proven experience in a proactive, customer-orientated sales or estimating environment
* High competency level with Microsoft Office suite
* Outgoing personality, enjoys speaking to customers on the phone and able to build excellent relationships
* Motivated by targets; able to evidence experience of consistently meeting and exceeding KPIs
* Previous experience of working well in a team and supporting others
Hours: - Full time - 38 hours per week - no remote working
