Production Operative

Our client has been in operation as a brick merchant, brick cutters providing cast stone brick arches and other types of niche bricks for over 20 years. They are currently looking for a production operative on a temporary basis at their site between Woodhurst and St. Ives.

The nature of the job includes:

* Manual labour including stacking and loading bricks
* Machine operation (using automated machine)
* Moving stock around site (by hand)
* Stacking pallets
* Bonding bricks (sticking bricks together)
* General yard duties
* Adherence to PPE requirements and all aspects of site health and safety procedures

The company have stated that although experience in a production environment and counterbalance forklift licence are advantageous, they are not essential and they are willing to train the right candidate if they show reliability, a willingness to integrate into their team and a strong work ethic.

You will need to be physically fit and must have your own steel toe capped safety boots.

Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00 with 2 x 30-minute breaks per day.
