Our client is a growing Technology company looking for their next valued team member.
They provide marine electronics, such as AIS, GPS, depth sensor and much more.
This is a very varied role, which will see you working independently and as a key part of the team. You will be expected to support, find and engage with building and maintaining client relationships documenting all activity using HubSpot which is their CRM system.
Working alongside the Office Manager and a small team of experts to help with general admin jobs. You will also be required to work in dispatch from a small in-house warehouse.
You need to be a self-starter, self-motivated with a strong 'can do' attitude and a willingness to try new experiences.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Follow up on any sales leads generated by the team
- Contacting potential new clients and then either seeing them yourself, or delegating to the appropriate team member
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
- Maintain and keep up to date HubSpot with all client interactions
- Handling all incoming phone calls and directing them to the correct member of the team
- Monitoring shared inboxes and making people aware of anything urgent
- Responsible for dispatching products
- Monitoring all samples being dispatched from the factory and contacting any customers who may be facing a delay to their shipment
- Prepare quarterly reports onto customer relationship management & growth
- Assisting with basic admin tasks such as filing, purchasing of goods, monitoring supplies
- Travel both domestic and international to visit boat shows, distributors, new sales leads etc
- Handling incoming parcels
Essential requirements:
Must drive and have own transport.
Demonstratable history in a sales setting
Must hold a valid passport - with ability to travel internationally particularly to the US.
Desirable skills:
Knowledge of HubSpot would welcome but obviously not essential
Background in electronics
Background in marine electronics, or sailing
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (30 mins lunch break)
Holidays: 30 (inclusive of the statutory 8 bank holidays). 3 days to be used over Christmas Break.
